Personal Injury
|
If you are injured and the negligence of another person or entity has caused your injury, you may be entitled to money damages to pay for your medical bills, lost wages, rehabilitation, and for pain and suffering. Examples of these accidents include: Auto, Truck, Bus, Train, and Airline Accidents, Slip and Falls and Defective Products.
We take on these kinds of cases on a “contingency fee” basis, meaning we only get paid if we recover damages for you and our pay is a percentage of what we recover for you.
If your accident occurred while at work please consult our section on Georgia Workers’ Compensation.

Serious Auto Accidents
|
According to the most recent data from The Governor’s Office of Highway Safety there are nearly 350,000 auto accidents in Georgia each year, resulting in over 130,000 injuries.
If you have been hurt in an accident the first thing to do is to get prompt medical treatment. If your injuries are visible, take pictures of them and of the damage to your car. Keep a list of where you were treated and keep copies of all of your medical records and bills.
While you may be obligated to give a recorded statement to your own insurance company, do not give a statement to the other party’s insurance company. Refer them to your attorney or tell them you will not be giving them any recorded statement.

Wrongful Death
|
A wrongful death occurs when a death is caused by the fault of another person. Suits for wrongful death are usually brought by the spouse, children, or parents of the deceased.
There is no statutory limit placed on monetary damages in wrongful death claims. The amount of damages are determined by a jury and are usually based on the age, occupation, life expectancy, health, and circumstances surrounding the person’s death. |
Premises Liability (Slip and Falls)
|
One misstep on a slippery floor or broken step can land an unassuming victim in a wheelchair. Each of these cases often hinges on the individual facts of the incident and considers whether or not the property owner took precautions to make the area safe as well as whether the victim was careless.

Insurance Coverage Disputes
|
As we all know, insurance companies are businesses, businesses which operate to make profits. Sometimes in this pursuit of profits, insurance companies exercise bad faith in refusing to pay a valid claim. If your attorney is able to prove bad faith on the part of your insurance company, you may be eligible to receive additional damages above and beyond the amount of the denied claim. Contact us if your claim in any of these areas has been wrongfully denied:
